Directions:

Maddix Park is located in the Bay of Plenty, southwest of Tauranga. Directions will be signposted from the Welcome Bay Road roundabout. It takes around 15 minutes to get from the Welcome Bay Roundabout to the track. Turn off Welcome Bay Road into Ohauiti Road (25 metres from roundabout), follow Ohauiti Road for 5.9 km to Rowe Road, then follow Rowe Road to the end (4.8 km), drive in and through to the MotoX track.

Terrain: Bringing Maddix Park forward to December will help rid us of the dust problem a couple of years back. This venue is great for GNCC enthusiasts and we hope to have Paul Whibley back from the USA by then

Other details:
We have had several downpours Thursday and the track is unrideable. The weather forecast is for good weather Friday afternoon and Saturday so we believe we can run Sunday but cannot run Saturday
The pumice soil drains well so it will be perfect (given the weather forecast) for Sunday.
Mike Sheely has his bulldozer and digger here and is sorting the water ruts on Saturday. He has made some improvements to the Enduro X Section which will again be an option with those not wanting to do it able to take a long way around.

Honda/DRD GNCC Round 3

There will be only Two Races per day at the GNCC Series for 2012/13 Series. A morning race for Juniors and Rookie Ladies and the Senior Race starting Midday for everyone else over 13 Yrs of age.

The GNCC series has been reduced to four rounds to reduce the costs for riders traveling.
