Hi in NZ.
From Noel & Tim Curr:
The preparation is complete now, new tyres the graphics fitted including
the "KIWI KID" on the tank also "Supported by MOBU".
We are loading up this afternoon and driving to
Austria, a 10 hour drive in the Mercedes Benz transporter. It is equipped
with 4 beds cooking facilities and shower. Work benches and water blaster
and an awning the same size on the side. We have many spare parts plus tyres
and spare Soela front forks (Swiss made, really trick - better than Ohlins???)
but we haven't tested them yet. We have used our NZ Yamaha springs with MoBu valving
and it appears to be good. Tim is really pleased with the power of the bike.
The heat is extreme and Tim was exhausted after a 15 minute moto in the 30 deg. heat. The test track is really rough by NZ standard and the rear shock was going off noticeably after 15 minutes, the reservoir was so hot it would burn you.
The MoBu team are great and really looking after us extremely well. They are very professional in what they do and fun to work with.
