Kiwis Successful at Aussie Trials Championships:
Napier’s Warren Laugesen won the Open Solo class at the Nurtootpa Vine Inn Hotel 2002 Australian Observed Trials Championships at Mengler’s Hill in the Barossa Valley, South Australia over the weekend.
Laugesen riding a Scorpa 250cc finished 18 points clear of Australian Kevin Zarozynski in second place.
His fellow New Zealanders also featured in the top order, Tauranga’s Andrew Poad, on a Sherco 290cc, came home 7th overall, with Blenheim’s Jason Baker on another Sherco 290cc finishing 11th.
