Chris is the provisional winner of the 24 Hr in Aussie last weekend - he slayed them in the first three 200km laps and dropped just over a minute on the last lap where he crashed heavily at high speed.
However his first three laps (two in the dark) were exceptional giving him a huge buffer that he did not relinquish.
He finished 2 min 36 sec ahead of second place (and 10 times winner) Shane Diener and a further 28 seconds ahead of Australian Enduro Ace Jehi Willis.
After losing out by a mere 24 seconds last year, Chris redeemed himself with this incredible win.
24 Hours is a long time in anyones standards. Fatigue set in about 3 am and it was the sheer determination and bull headedness that paid off for Chris.
Chris was using DID Chain, Dunlop Tyres and the Yamaha WR450 bike.
A proud Dad was there to see the action and witness the crash of the event. Good crash – worthy of great note!
