(Must be accompanied by an adult rider) - NZ Top Trail Riders Championship (Support championship for intermediate riders) - TTR1 Up to 200cc 2St, Up to 300cc 4St. - TTR2 Over 201cc 2St, Over 300cc 4St - Vet 4 Veterans 40+ - Trail Riders - All in Intro class for novice riders and trail riders.
Round 2 of the Yamaha NZ Enduro Championship 27-28th April will now be held at a venue near Christchurch.
The Nelson Forest owners, Tasman Forests, have advised that due to the current dry conditions and weather forecasts, there is a worse than 50/50 chance the event can run. Tasman Forests have been great to deal with and we thank them for all their efforts to make this event happen for us, unfortunately we need certainty and therefore, and with a significant effort from the Christchurch Off Road MC an alternative venue is currently being secured for the event.
The team from the Nelson MC have put a lot of work into the event so it is very disappointing for their crew that it will now not go ahead. Thank you for all your work, particularly Scott S for all the work you’ve put in opening new tracks and preparing for the event.
With the momentum gained this year we can look forward to an amazing Enduro in Nelson for 2025. We'll schedule the event to run in May to avoid that sunny weather that Nelson is famous for.
